Twisdenwood Farm:
Twisdenwood Farm, located in Georgetown, MA is a state of the art facility for both horse and rider. The farm is conveniently located 35 min north of Boston, with easy access to routes 95 and 495.
Situated on over 20 acres of open land with numerous amenities:
4 barns (20 matted stalls each), high ceilings for great ventilation, oversized matted aisles w/ tack rooms, offices, hot / cold wash stalls, large storage bays for supplies, laundry and rest rooms, and an indoor w/ heated viewing room.
The indoor is 81'x180', 2 out door rings 104'x250' and 1 outdoor 135'x275'.
All rings have excellent footing with a stonedust base with sand topping.
Twisdenwood Farm is available for horse show events, schooling ring times, and clinics.
Farm is leased out to professional trainers. While the trainers focus on their business, the owners, Ben and Jill Bowden, meticulously maintain the facility. In addition, Jill specializes in beginner lessons and horsemanship for children and manages a few stalls that they have available
for boarding.

2009 Hunter Shows
Once again Twisdenwood Farm will be hosting the NSHA hunter shows. The show dates for the 2009 season are June 14, June 21,
July 26, August 23 and September 13. The June 21st show was canceled due to weather. The rescheduled date is Thursday July 30th.

Boarding:
Twisdenwood Farm currently has a few stalls available for full board. Experienced and professional care is provided by Jill Bowden. You may choose to have your trainer come in for lessons/schooling during scheduled times. Jill Bowden, with show and practical experience in eventing, hunters and jumpers, is also available for professional rides and lessons. Leasing and Rates:
Why worry about all the hassles of running a barn! At Twisdenwood Farm we offer you the opportunity to run your own business privately while we maintain the farm.
Currently Twisdenwood Farm has 5-20 stalls available for lease. The lease fee is based on empty stalls and full use of the facility. The Lessee is responsible for all employees and supplies for horses/ponies. Licensed instructors must carry insurance listing Twisdenwood Farm as an additional insured on their policy.

Twisdenwood Farm - Jill Bowden
Jill Bowden specializes in beginner lessons and horsemanship for children starting at age 5. Private one on one lessons run for 1 hr. Lesson involves hands on experience with learning horsemanship and barn care in a fun encouraging way that promotes children to be self confident and caring for horse and ponies at an early age. All children are taught basic balance aboard a pony and are kept on a lunge line until confident and knowledgable to ride on there own.
